Our special guest is Helena Howard. She is an architect for Hawkins\Brown in London and is passionate about educating students in architectural polychromy. In this episode we talk about the use of colour in the built environment. Humans are attracted to colours. Buildings for children are often full of colour, but we seem to grow out of it. COLOUR & DEMENTIA “DAY IN THE LIFE” is a study by Hawkins\Brown Architects and the new Institute of Neurology an UK Dementia Research Headquarters, and explores how colour can be used to the advantage of people with very specific requirements.
